1. Log in / sign up to the National Voters Services Portal at www.nvsp.in

2. Click on : Form for Apply online for registration of new voter/due to shifting from AC in case you have moved to another constituency or Transposition within Assembly in case you have moved within the same constituency.

3. Select Form 6 if you have moved to another new constituency or Form 8A if you have moved from one place to another place within the same constituency .

4. Fill up or complete the mandatory details on the form including your name, date of birth, state, constituency, address.

5. Upload your documents as mentioned in the form or application such as a photograph, proof of address and proof of age.

Eligibility Criteria for Apply Driving License Online in Assam

To apply for a driving license online in Assam - be it learner or permanent, one must meet the below-mentioned criteria:

# Individual must have attained the age of 18 years .
# Applicant must possess a learner's license to apply for a permanent driving license.

# An applicant should apply for a driving license after 30 days of getting Learner's Licence or within 180 days of the date of the issue mentioned on your learner’s licence.

# After the authentication, upload signature and make the payment online.

# After the payment, you can login with application number generated and password sent to your registered mobile number. A mandatory Video tutorial will appear, and the applicant will have to watch the full video (without skipping). After that the Learner's Test will appear. 

# The applicant can take the test at any time from any location (home or any other place).

# After the test, your result will be displayed.

# lf passed, link for Learner's License download will be sent to the registered mobile number. You can download the Learner's License from the link. 

# Alternatively, you can also download the Learner's License from https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/ .

#  If failed, you need to appear again for the Learner's License test as per rules.

# For re-test you need to pay Rs.50.

You can keep this Learner Driving License with you just for learning. You can print out the PDF file and keep it with you. But this does not allow you to drive on the road.

If you drive a vehicle on the road, you should have a man with have a license. Otherwise, it will be illegal even if you have this learner’s driving license.
