Here’s the process to change your address in your voter ID card through the National Voters Services Portal online.

1. Log in / sign up to the National Voters Services Portal at www.nvsp.in

2. Click on : Form for Apply online for registration of new voter/due to shifting from AC in case you have moved to another constituency or Transposition within Assembly in case you have moved within the same constituency.

3. Select Form 6 if you have moved to another new constituency or Form 8A if you have moved from one place to another place within the same constituency .

4. Fill up or complete the mandatory details on the form including your name, date of birth, state, constituency, address.

5. Upload your documents as mentioned in the form or application such as a photograph, proof of address and proof of age.

Age proof: Birth Certificate, Marksheet, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, Aadhaar letter issued by the UIDAI.

Address proof: Passport, Driving License, Bank Passbook, Ration Card, Income Tax Assessment.

6. Once you have completed fill-up and uploaded all required the documents submit the form.

You can track your application online by a reference number that you will receive after you have successfully submitted the application form. Then the electoral officers will proceed with verification of your change address in your voter id. On successful verification you'll receive your updated voter ID card with the new address.

3. After Click on this a new tab will be open here you can search by reference no. or enter your reference no. and click Track Status

A. Please fill up all the required details in application. Incomplete application form will be liable to be rejected.

B. Please also give your full name and address in the acknowledgement and intimation portions.
